take time to think about what happened. why did he dump you? if you want him back, you can try to get him. if he refuses, you may have to move on. be warned: this is going to be a long process. you should not rush into anything, especially when it comes to starting another romance on the rebound. believe me. i've gone through this many times. what i have learned most clearly is that i can't rush anything. looking back, i can see that the relationships i was in were not as perfect as i thought. looking back, i can appreciate the fact that the men ended the connection because i can see that there would be a lot of problems if they had not. that's what i have learned years later. at the time of the breakups, i was really, really sad. actually, i was depressed for three years after it didn't work out with my first boyfriend. i hope you don't have it as bad as i did. but it is true what they say: time does heal the hurt.

There are plenty of sites on the net with advice, but these are the basic things you can do (and prepare to be on an emotional rollercoaster if this was a very serious relationship):

1. No communication: no calls, no emails, no anything.
2. Give yourself time to grieve.
3. Next, lean on your friends and family for support.
4. Start doing things that are fun or interesting.
5. After you have healed a bit, start casual dating (but nothing serious until you are certain you have moved on--rebound relationships are bad for everyone involved.

In the end (it's cliche, I know), it just takes time apart without communication.

dumped, well another persons trash is someone elses treasure honey go do something nice for yourself and remember that this world holds a special someone for everyone. dont be a couch potato get out with friends and or family go do things that interest you or that may seem fun. never expect someone else to make you feel good instead do it yourself and hold your head up high in doing these things you will be able to attract someone you'll find to be worthy of the love and affection you have to give and in return you'll recieve the same. my momma always said if you find a rotten apple make applesauce.

i've gone through this too many times. just take a couple of days to recover you know. the thing i have always done afterwards is to fall back on friends they will get you through every single time. you will eventually get your face back out there and begin dating again in due time.
