Become a psychologist, what else. That has got to be one of the most over-rated majors in college.

I graduated with a BA in Psychology and finally scored a job as a Transportation Program Coordinator at an AIDS Service Organization. I couldn't have gotten my current job (here 7 years so far) without a Psychology or Social Worker degree. I like what I do so much that I wont move out of this city to be with my partner until our funding is taken away / I loose my job. Before I came to work here, I spent my first 3 years out of college as a secretary at Wells Farbo.

Not a lot. Some social work/hospital positions might be allowed with just a BA in Psychology, but most would want a at least a masters (in social work for example)
Definitely not psychologist, need a PhD. or PsyD for that.
This link claims you can do lots, but really it boils down to counselor type positions, and job that you can get with any BA, but your background in Psych might make you better suited to interpersonal interactions.

honestly you can't do much with only a bachelors...to do any kind of therapy or psychotherapy you have to be licensed, and you can't get licensed without at least a master's degree. i got my bachelprs in psych and i am currently working on my masters in counseling...after that i can get licensed as a marriage therapist. with only a BA in psych, you can get a job that just requires a college degree...most likely those jobs are completly unrelated to psychology. in some states you can work as a substance abuse counselor without being licensed, but thats about it. get your phd to become a psychologist, or get your masters to become a counselor.

Speaking not as someone in your field but someone who has sought professional help, I can tell you that I always felt most comfortable with the people who had the most education. They seemed to have more insight. I saw the difference. Your field is so important and is a life line for people such as myself (I'm Bipolar) The mind is so complex and these disorders are so challenging, I don't think anyone who chooses to help people in this field could get too much education!
