I see so many people ask a question like "I'm 5'2 130 pounds do you think I'm fat?" I mean what the hell look in the mirror for goodness sake and decided for yourself. Don't let someone else sum you up. I'm not trying to be rude just curious.

Because of the media, every woman questions their weight, looks, etc. Because men disrespect women by lusting after the perfect woman (i.e. strip joints, playboy, etc) and these leads women to have a low self-esteem because they will never be as perfect as the way magazines, television commercials, etc. portray women. Women are to blame as well, woman should not shop at stores (Victoria Secrets for example) because of their tantalizing commercials that dictate what a man finds attractive and sexy.

Every seeks approval and acceptance. Weight and dieting are ways a woman can "control" their body image. Anorexia at its finest!

Well………some women need to be
Told that they are not too fat or not to
Skinny, just to reassure themselves that
They are in fact OK in their weight. However,
If someone asks if they are too fat or too skinny
And they are either of the two, as a friend I feel that
The truth should be told and support should be given
To help her correct her problem. We as women need
To stick together instead of constantly trying to put
One another down. Because we all need somebody to
Help us through any tough time that we may go through
And no one can really understand a woman better than a woman
Or GOD! Take your pick of who to go to first

Everyone becomes insecure at some point. Depending on the person, he or she wants the brutal truth on how others view him/her or just a simple self-esteem boost. Nothing's wrong with a second opinion.

I think people ask that cuz they usually can't see themselves objectively, and we are constantly bombarded with images of how we are supposed to look - if you buy into that sort of thing.
I think if a person is ok with how they look, then so what. I know girls of all sizes who are ok with how they look, and girls of all sizes of the opposite.
