I don't know where the wood came from, but odds are, The Amish helped Noah built it. By all accounts, he was rather inept, since god had to explain how many "cubits" the ark should be! It's a silly story, more than most of the ones surrounding the flood myths of that area and time.

ok first go to Genesis and look it up but anyway God told Noah to build the ark so then Noah and chopped gopherwood(yes that's a kind of wood not just like something to do with gophers but it's a special kind just right for the ark and the conditions it would face.) and he then built the ark...read more and found out

I don't know but there was more than one ark built around the worldacording Vedisc understanding. It only makes sense. Go to www.essene.org for the truth on Christianity Dead sea Scrolls etc.

Nobody gave Noah the wood.
He had to go out and chop down trees.
Genesis 6: 14,15.
Trees weren't hard to find.
Chopping them down was hard ....as well as making them into a rectangular box.
That might be why God gave noah 120 years to complete the project.
