I saw it for the first time last week. She is flaky and, frankly, plain (i.e., looks don't make up for her flakiness.) Maybe I missed something in previous episodes.. Please explain.

Meredith IS Greys Anatomy. Her name is Meredith Grey,and the entire show is based around her character. I can see how you could get the wrong impression of her, as being flaky, but if you give her chance, you will grow to love her as much as the rest of us Greys fans.She is funny, and Witty, and a bit of confused about the men in her life, but then.....she's Grey!

Everyone has their own taste and likings in the opposite sex. I'm a woman and think that just about every other woman on the show is more attractive and stable than she is. I know that Addison cheated on Derrick but, she's a hot tall bombshell redhead and Izzie is a hot curvy blonde. You really need to get caught up on the show. If you have ON DEMAND (comcast) you should be able to watch all the previous episodes for this season. You also should be able to get the other 2 seasons on DVD and really get caught up.

I've seen it a few times...I think she's pretty hot, but she IS flaky and whiney and annoying. It got to where I could not believe that such a person could get through medical school and become a doctor.

I can't watch that show. It made me too afraid to go to a hospital, should the need ever arise. Lots of men love flakey women because they want to rescue and heal them.

Third os all she's old and she's playing the role of someone young i dont like it

She is my favorite on Grey's Anatomy!!! Well besides Doctor McDreamy!! If I had him chasing my skirt I wouldnt mind being her either!! :)
