I would say yes because i would want god pleased for me sacrificing my life as he did for me, and because then though i'd be dead i would have my children or grandchildren grow closer as well.

I will say yes because I believe that even if I am beheaded, my soul will live on in the house of God and I will be reunited with all the people that have already gone to the house of God.

Well I have always asked myself this question ever since I got saved and I knew once I got to this point of standing up for God my life was all his so the answer is yes, this world means nothing compared to the glorious heaven that God has prepared for us but about the second part "this is what teh anti-christ will ask" this is not true actua;;y those who belive now will already be in heaven during the period the anti-christ is here but those who are saved through the tribulation will have to suffer but will still eventually go to heaven after the final battle.

I understand your question totally and have thought about this a lot. I've seen a lot of movies with that sort of scene in it. My answer will be yes because saying no will mean that you are against God and that you will suffer his wrath when Jesus shows up later on.

But discussing this in the comfort of your home is one thing, but actually being there after having been beaten, and starved, and tortured, a then have someone ask you this question is a totally different story.

I hope I have enough strength in my soul to say yes showing my support for God and Jesus and then have to go through the nasty business of being put up against the wall, or getting beheaded.

If you are talking about the tribulation, then I think the people who believe and have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will already be gone. However, if you are talking about just in general, I sincerely hope that my answer would be yes, because I know anyway that I am going to heaven when I die. I cannot make that decision until it comes though. Also, I would rather believe and accept Jesus Christ and when I die find out that it isn't true, than not have Jesus Christ as my Savior and find out that it s true that when someone dies they go to heaven if they are a christian.

I would say no because I don't think God is real. Just as I didn't say God was real when Christians were stomping my hands and kicking me into a bloody mess. I believe in truth that much.

However, if this ever came about, though I don't believe in God, I would plan and plot alongside you to overthrow the government for doing such things. I would do anything in my power to allow you to say yes in safety. I would put my life on that promise.

The Apostle Peter denied Christ three times while christ was still alive! (just as jesus said he would) No-where in the bible does Christ command us to be a martyr for him. I don't cling too tightly to "worldly things" but, I also do not think too well without a head.

Good luck with that though...

when the day comes and you are asked did you live a good life I will say yes because I searched for what I believed and evaluated information to formulate my own opinions on why I was here and what I should do with this life. I didn't blindlessly listen to a book and some guys in a fancy robe telling me this is what I should believe no matter the facts or circumstances. I used the most amazing thing I had, my brain and search for something that is probably unattainable, truth.

Sweet and simple. To thine own self be true. I believe in God, the eternal father and in his son, Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit. I believe them to be 3 distinct individuals. So much as I would hate to have my head severed. I would still stand by my beliefs.

I would say no I don't believe in God, because I don't. Although this is a great question for all of you christians. If you truly believed in god the fear of death would not subside in your heart and you could be free to die because you know your going into the afterlife. If you find yourself with doubt then how stong are your beliefs? I would say no, preserve the life you have here on earth because its the only life you get to live..

The answer is easy.

All I have to do is read some accounts from the book listed in my source listed below.

It's an easy read, since it is divided into personal accounts of individuals and what happened to them during this very volatile time in religious history. The sacrifices, risks, witnessing, murders, politics and injustices. You can read it in chapter order, or just skip around. This is not an easy read to absorb.

These are factual accounts from witness accounts as these things occurred. Not just word-of-mouth. The Book of Martyrs use to accompany the Holy Bible in Christian homes as a standard read.

That's what I call inspiration!!!
