Well...maybe. It is really up to YOU. It COULD be a stalker on the other end. Just to let you know, they could easily type your phone number into google and your name and address may come up. I would personally say no because it may also be that it is just an advertising company, telling you to buy or get something. By calling people, it makes them their money. So, to answer your question, i would say no

Nope, this is standard telemarketing technique. Though I am on the Federal no-call list, I get a lot of these calls, and interestingly most of them are in the same man's voice.

It is either a collection call or a solicitation. I'd call to make sure it is not a bill collector. If it is a solicitor, you can just hang up.
