I am confused as to what will happen to who and when. I do know that after the Great Tribulation has been completed, Jesus will then establish His millennial kingdom, and then a new earth will be created.
Revelation 21:1-2
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Do you think the new earth will be the same as heaven?
Revelation 20:4-5
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The rest of the dead - does that mean the unbelievers, or the dead in Christ (who had already died before the tribulation even began)? If it means the dead in Christ, then I don't understand where the last trumpet fits in, since it should have already happened.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Corinthians 15:52
In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

So the last trump is the seventh trumpet. Do you think this passage may be speaking of the dead in Christ rising from their graves?
Revelation 10:1-7
1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars.
2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,
3 and he gave a loud shout like the roar of a lion. When he shouted, the voices of the seven thunders spoke.
4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven say, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said and do not write it down."
5 Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven.

6 And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, "There will be no more delay!
7 But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets."
So... I am not sure... will the "dead in Christ" (our Christian ancestors) be with the tribulation saints in the millennial kingdom, or do you think they skip that and go straight to whatever heaven is? And then where does everyone go while the current earth is detroyed and the new earth is created? And why would Jesus want to reign in an earth that has practically been destroyed by God's wrath anyway? I'm so confused....

Now, just why are you so concerned about what God might, or might not do in the future? Did not Jesus say to stop worrying and to seek first the kingdom and God's righteousness? "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
Is it necessary for you to know how John's prophecies will work out, or when? Why is the outcome for other people filling your mind when the big issue is, "Can I glorify God today?" If you spend each day considering how to honour and praise God, he will take care of your future.
The book of Revelation is all about The Big Picture - what's going on back-stage, behind the scenes of this troubled earth. When we're taking part in life we see and understand little, and with frightening speed, it's time for us to leave the stage of earthly life. Revelation comforts believers as they have their eyes lifted up and away, to see how God defeats the powers of darkness. That's his job. Make the most of each day and trust in God for the future. Now, why don't you turn to Matthew chapter 5 and get your feet back on terra firma?

The Tribulation Saints are the believers during the Tribulation period. Some of those saints will be martyred for their beliefs, some will live through the Tribulation and be present for the return of Christ.
The Church, the Old Testament saints, the martyred saints and the surviving saints will all be present in the Millennium. Nonbelievers who survive the Tribulation, will be judged at Christ's second coming. Dead nonbelievers will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment or the Second Resurrection after the 1000 year Millennium.
Some scholars believe the "new" earth spoken of will not literally be a new earth, but a renewed earth. This earth will be similar to the conditions that were in the Garden of Eden.

Sister,I have noticed your answers and replies on Yahoo and it's obvious the Spirit of God leads you,I have just been reproved by your kindness and love as I viewed your Q&A's.I wish I had more of this Spirit of Love, please pray for me. Your question here can only be a theory and we don't believe in theroies.Much and many idea's could be given on this question.I have my own idea's as well and they don't always agree with my Christian family. It makes me sad when I see how this can become a debate amongst us,even causing bitternous to spring up.I have come to this concluosion. This part I can understand, the rest I can only Imagine. He is comeing back,I know that for a fact, and I will say with the Saints "Even so,come,Lord Jesus" Rev.22:20b.And when He does it won't matter about anything here or even there,Amen !

Now you're thinking. The fact is according to the Vedic understanding Which came with the whole creation. Creation, maintenance, and inhalation are going on and and on. So you do not have to wait until Christ comes again to attain the spiritual kingdom or the material heaven. (There is a lot of confusion between the material and spiritual heaven within the Bible). At the time of death whatever you think of is what you attain. If you think of Christs at that moment then you will go to him. But if you think of something else you will come back again to the material world. You have to believe in reincarnation and karma to understand the all loving merciful nature of God. When he means the dead it means the dead in heart not laying in the grave. There are only body parts laying in a grave. Not souls. Especially Christian Souls. Though Ghosts exist but not in the Grave. So go back to God in this life you don't have to wait until the second coming. That is for those who are left over who didn't surrender before. It's more clear in the Vedic texts because much has been eliminated on Reincarnation by King Constantine. Get the book "You mean that's in the Bible" by satyaraj das at www.krishnaculture.com Go to www.essene.org for the truth on Christ. and www.stephen-knapp.com for the Vedic understanding

wow that is a tough one- but everyone is going to give you their beliefs on it so... as i understand it the millennial kingdom is here on earth ( where it mentions that He will stand with His feet on the mountain) and we are gathered up to meet him in the sky- but it does not say to live there. but I get confused because in Zechariah 8- it speaks of"and the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls playing- and old men and old women will again sit in the streets of Jerusalem- so i gather from this we are not in our new bodies yet- i feel that we do not get them until the 1000 year reign is over and then the New Jerusalem comes down out of the heavens- this happens after the last war- i feel - and this is pure speculation- we change then- and the last Resurrection is for the unbelievers and sinners- i do not know if they get a chance to repent again or not- but 1John3;4 tell us what sin is "everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness". but what really matters iS now- you- now are you a sinner according to the word of God or by the worlds standards? get it right now----

This is such a multifaceted question. There is a great book that can help you understand and put all these scriptures into perspective: "THE POPULAR BIBLE PROPHECY WORKBOOK: An Interactive Guide to Understanding the End Times" by Tim LaHaye & Ed Hindson. I am reading through this book and it has helped tremendously.
Even though it's not an immediate answer, I hope this helps.

Unfortunately, the Revelation is according tto St John the blessed, and therefore holds no more incite than any of the other gospels, biblical or gnostic, and its inclusion in the Bible was the choice of several human men, flawed as all mankind is.
Only the prophets had direct access to the word of God, and St John was not a prophet.
Try not to worry too much about what befalls us after death, I personally believe that there is no Hell, only a heaven with a benevolent, fair and understanding God, who shall know our sins and forgive them, after all we're only human. Live your life with the tolerance of others, and help those who need your help, like the Good Samaritan, and you will have fulfilled Jesus' words and hopes for you. As such, you will not have to worry about meeting your maker.

I think what your asking is who teaches of coming of Christ and what the thousand year millennium is about. I have found that the Mormon religion goes into great depth on these subjects as other religions I have found just touched the surface leaving me with more question than answers. Ask the leaders of all the religions that you can until you feel the truth open your heart and then explore that religion further.

In your own words, concerning you.........you're confused.
Unfortunately, you've allowed yourself to be confused by premillenialists.
For you or someone who may benefit from enlightment on this subject, here's the truth:
