my body shape is bigger at the top like my arms and belly I want to lose weight on the top part of my body how do I do it with out losing weight on th bottom like my butt and thighs tell me something I can do I'am 20 years of age and I need to lose 50 pounds I am 182 pounds

Unfortunately, you can not target weight lose to specific regions. Eat correctly and exercise regularly and the weight will come off where it needs to.

Start with simple calorie reduction. The results are slower, but if you gain weight in your belly area then that is where the loss will start. Then do twisting abdominal excercises and use some light arm weights. This will keep the focus from being on your butt and thighs.

Muscle weighs more then fat (so you can do things to your arms to make them more firm but the size/weight of them will not change much). As you exercise your body will start to burn fat reserves & normally goes for the arms & legs first (so any excersise will work) your butt is safe as it is one of the last things to go lol the downside is so is you belly.

try sittups, weights, swimming, or other stenuous activitys that include your arms and upper body
