I was sure that my baby was avoiding me. I talked to him on the phone and said I thought you was avoiding me. He said No and then Yes because they offered him a permanent job in Oklahoma. He didn't want to tell me because he's didn't know how to tell me. Everyone said he should go, I told him that this is a good opportunity for him and that he shouldn't let it go. He leaves in December. He said he don't want let someone that brings him so much joy and happiness into his life. I don't want him to stay for me. How much I do, I really don't.

So, why do I feel like someone died.

you feel as though someone died because you are losing your loved one..to hold him back from a great opportunity will only make things bad. he could always hold that against you. it is hard on him also to leave, that's why he didn't tell you in the first place. maybe you can go visit him. if two people truly love each other, long distance relationships can work, maybe one day you will move there to be with him.

i think you feel like this because you believe that a long distance relationship wont work so your feeling that he is leaving you forever and you have been so close and now a part of you have gone(died) and so you are discouraged. dont get bent out ova this. even though people say that long distance relationships dont work they really do if you work at them on both ends. if you both are really into eachother then work at it. IM, call, visit, plan vacations togather. you may feel like at any minute you may lose your baby but dont. you trust your honey right? if not scratch everything i just said. get over it and go on because a long distance relationship that has trust issues can quickly turn into a grudge that is worst then hating a family memeber. totally i kno.

In a sense, part of you is dying, a period of time is closing;ending;over; and you are looking at the now. STOP! Enjoy the time you still have. Unless you are clairvoyant, you don't know that things wont work out some how. Why waist time worrying about something that you cant control? This is his decision to make,so let him make it. Long distance relationships are difficult, but often worth it.

You have 3 options;
1. Go with him
2. Have him stay
3. Break it off

It is unreasonable to tie him down with a long distance relationship.

If you don't choose 1 or 2. Then you need to break it off, grieve and move on.

As for the pain, that goes away with time. You'll grieve and one day it won't hurt as much.

It's not really like someone died, but it sure can seem that way. Can you visit him? Is there a chance that you can move there sometime?

Let him go... You'll feel like a better person by letting him follow his job. Plus, he couldn't even tell you like a man, how wack is that?

Every relationship comes to an end. You either break up or one of you dies.
