I just typed "car seat law Texas" into Yahoo search to find it.

It looks like 4 years old or 36 inches and then a booster seat for children 4-8 or under 80 lbs.

Back seat of course.

I believe that the national data says that your child should be 6 years old and 60 pounds.

usually it's 8 years or 4 feet tall .best to just ask the local police station
