Science was made by people. People make mistakes and science always is changing in its own ways. Theories that they came up with 10 years ago aren't the same now and probably wont be the same in 10 years. The most recent example of this is the planet Pluto and it was a planet for how long befor one day someone said it's not just . I don't call that a very reliable system. Although on the other hand people made gods and reigion as well. The only thing religion has going for it is it doesn't change, like science does. But as to who would win a "war" I think it is a drawn depending of the person and how much bullsh*t he is willing to believe from ether side.

God possesses all knowledge, and science is actually revealed knowledge. The laws of science are subject to God and His authority. So God wins.
You must not be very deep into science if you believe it to be a series of "proofs based on strongly-defined laws." The further you become educated in science, the more you come up against the "unknowns," the "variables," and the "possible outcomes." There are many "guesses" in science because there is so much that God has not chosen to reveal.
Science is limited in that it can only answer questions about this physical world. It can't help you deal with the unseen spiritual world. It can't even help you with all the questions related to our minds and thoughts. It can't secure your future in eternity.

Well, let's not glorify science beyond what it deserves. Science has also given us the sword, the machine gun, napalm, tanks, nuclear bombs, and the ability to calculate the exact blast pressure needed to pop someone's lungs. Believe me, I'm a rocket safety engineer -- I've done that calculation.
Those are not good things.
Science is a process, and as such it has no inherent morality associated with it. You can use science to give someone a prosthetic limb or you can use science to blow off his other ones.
Nevertheless, I understand the point you are trying to make. Across all of history, the "truths" of various religions have been replaced by the truths of science, with a 100% success rate. There has never been any evidence-based scientific theory since the Enlightenment that has been replaced with any religious explanation. Ever. Nor has any Noble Prize ever been awarded to someone who claimed a religious text as their evidence.
Religions just tend to re-interpret themselves in light of science. They never have anything new to suggest as an explanation. If anyone wants to prove me wrong, please tell me why the Sun goes through an 11-yr cycle of sunspots. If you figure that out we'll get millions of dollars and a Noble prize. Just go read your Bible, right?
Right...
Science wins.

Why does everyone think there is some "war" between science vs religion? science actually proves existence of God! Most great physicists today actually believe in God. Ive read a great book called The Physics of Religion by a professor of Sankt Petersburg Faculty of Mathematics and Physics and he claims to be a religious and spiritual person :-) Scientists say that life was created by mixing of various elements. Ok but they are NOT able to create life in their labs. There was probably a big Bang. Ok, but what caused the explosion and who created that one point? See? It all gives sense! So dont search for problems when there are not any! :-))

Truth will be victorious. The plain truth is that not everything can be proved by science. No one can deny that there is a tremendous design in the universe and earth and all its systems and creations. It is as if it has been designed and created by a great being beyond our scope of vision and understanding. Why is it that humans with their amazing collective intellect cannot design and create even the most minor of creations like a mosquito. All our acheivements are just our folly to fool us into a fale sense of superiority and control in actuality we all know it we are very vulnerable in this universe of ours and there is a continuous protective influence running and protecting us all the time. That influence is Allah the one and only Lord and creator of the universe. This same thought and belief has been stated by messengers of old who came from almost the begining of time.Eventually science will see its limitation and accept that the best vision is faith.Sometimes you just need to have faith and let your heart and intellect lead you to the truth.

I know that science has given us leaps and bounds in how we see and manipulate our world, but the statement "will keep us safe..." is kinda iffy. Science has also brought the most terrible weapons of war, made it easier for those to produce and grow them, made drug manufacturing possible in a trailer at a mobile home park, by drop-outs. Computer theft and breaking into databases. Belief and faith are also exactly as you say, based on intangible proof. That is why it is called faith. Not hope. I can use science, but have my faith. I don't deny it all.

Do you know the Bible at all? Get one and see what 1 Tim 6:20 says. It says there will be false science (kknowledge) that will tell us things not true and tells us how to receive it or rejct it. If this does not go along with what God teaches, it is false and should be rejected. If it goes along with Gods teaching, then accept it.
You can be a very smart man, and take yourself to your own ruin. Look at Hitler, and so many others. You can also be a very simple person, living life, loving it, and being only a blessing to others. What good is all the knowledge if it isnt used for good. Clowning, partial life abortions...... oh man and the beat goes on and on and on. now, they say its ok to be gay, they cant help it. Really? Then God would not demand they give it up. HUH// Just like saying it would be a sin to have a long nose... its something we cant choose. its given to us, so if God says its a sin to be a homosexual, it is. science is screwed up on this on and so much more. Follow God and He will lead you to all truths. Now, will God have victory or science. Well, lets put it this way. God created the universe. God gives knowledge, including to smart peple. Without Him, noone would know anything. Only God gives life, and only God can take it away. I know He is where my trust goes. Knowledge wont save you. If so ,how come so many really so called smart people lead lives of destruction to themselves and all around them? Yet my mom who had only a 2nd grade education in arkansas, yep pure hillbilly to the bone, lead a life that was a blessing to all who met her. come on folks, even you very intelligent, knowledgeable people must see the error in this thinking, that science will save. Science also destroys, look at the nuclear bombs. I tell you what, I am no genius, but I am smart enough to know where to put my trust and my faith, it is with God. and none of you will call that stupid on judgement day when God shows you who He really is, and He says all will know in the end, but then its too late to change your minds. maybe the nuclear bombs will save you then, hey? or the dude that dreamed up cloning.?????? no. only God saves, choose HIim now before Jesus comes, then it will be too late.

It's not a battle. Science is the study of the universe. God is supposedly the creator of the universe. That's like asking: Ocean vs. Oceanography, who will win?

hello are you dumb or just unscientific
God made science too lol=today our greatest scientist honor God-and all through the ages-the creation scientists have debated the evolutionary ones-and have never lost a debate on campuses yet-be real-God great-and the bible-in thousands of years proved the earth was round-the athiests of that day mocked the bible saying it was wrong and the earth was flat
think of it everything came from nothing with age-and had to have a creator-cause it didnt exist before its age-came alive like without a fairy after thousands of molecules came together and also formed a perfect dna for a one cell life and became alive- abillion accidents later turned into a person-now is that scientific-be real-david in Jesus amazing grace
