He has talked about it, and a few days ago, said he had a package coming that he had to get, and then said he might just wait until January (our one year anniversary), but, I am not sure. Any suggeestions if you think he is. If so why, and what are some other things I can look for, and maybe figure out, and get him to crack and give it to me!!!

Isn't that silly - shouldn't you want an engagement ring or are you too young? I don't know. I've been proposed to multiple times - I was never given a "I promise to promise to marry you ring". That just silly in my book. Either he's going to marry you or he isn't.
You shouldn't have to coax it out of him - He's not worth marrying if you have to persuade him into it.

The only thing that promise rings represent or show other people is that he didn't have enough money for an engagement ring, or he is unsure if he wants to be with you forever....I would never accept one.

The biggest clue will be...he hands you a ring. Let him give it to you in his own time and in his own way. It is probably something he has put a little time and though into, just be prepared with a yes and a warm smile

Promise rings are pointless... don't be dwelling on it too much - if that's what he's got for ya then just be happy when yu get it...don't force it?!

Your getting a little excited. You want him to give it to you when he's ready not when your ready. You might be heart broken too, cause it might not be a ring, it might be something else.

well if he really lovees you and wants to give u that ring then he will dont rush cause if you do he might think you are rushing things and take it slow , step by step

just wait for the surprise lol, if it is then ull be happy and excited and he'll be overly happy that ur happy and excited, but....... if he breaks early then wat will u have come anniversary?!
