I think if people would just judge people based on who they are as a person and not by what color they see, the world would be a better place.... If the guy/girl is a decent person, and *completes* you, you should be free to date that person regardless of skin tone.

I think there is nothing wrong with it we all bleed the same color, remember we only think this way cause of the home we were raised in or the friends we hung around, I would drop it, why discuss something and turn it into any type of a fight before it happens its always nice to know what he thinks of it, I dated this native guy and his mother was against it, because the native culture was dying and so was there language, most cultures want there kids to stay in the same culture to keep it alive, some cultures are dying cause of interracial dating, but you can not help who you fall in love with, and we proved to my bf's mother that we loved each other and over time she accepted and I learned the language and teach it to our children as well. Good Luck on the discussion!

For it, generally. I think as adults, any two people of any background can get along just fine and be a great couple, long marriage, etc.. The only thing I ever worry about is the kids. Some interracial kids would stand out so much that other kids will tear them apart on the playground, in class, etc...of course once they are older, hopefully they realize that was all crap, but that's a tough 12 years to go through waiting to come out normal on the other side. We can preach about tolerance and respect to our kids, but that doesn't mean that's what the OTHER kids are being taught and believe me, they will take it out on your kid if he doesn't fit the mold.

I'am for it. because am in a interracial relaytionship.I feel theres nothing wrong with it. Other people(some) feel it's wrong for me. They feel it's not right. They don't see the person they see color of the skin frist. Some people don't relieze it's the heart and the way person thinks about him or herself and the way carry on about life that counts not the skin of a person. we all bleed the same color we all have vains eyes use the bathroom when needed etc...most people go on what other people say and not there own mind. Little by little people change.

I am all for interracial dating. There is nothing wrong with it. The parental units, depending on age and culture, may have a problem with it. This is why it presents a problem. If you are an American, and your signifigant other is as well, it shouldnt matter. The whole idea of the melting pot is to assimilate to the American way of life! Which means try new things, and mix it up!

I do not believe there is anything wrong with interracial dating. i think that it is a matter of the heart. As long as you can treat the other with respect, and be good to one another, who cares about the color of the skin. Love is love, and if somone wants to date someone who is of a different race, who are we that we should get in the way of love.

It's 2006 (almost 2007) I just have a hard time believing or accepting that there are still people who think interracial dating is a big deal.
Love is love. Do that many people still think skin color matters.

YEAH people should stick to their own race ..the human race so thats about 6 billion options folks..
Only problem would be culture differeances, but get time to know each other and that wont be a problem. Plent yof folks in this world to be with dont let race determin your happiness

I think that you can't help whom you fall in love with and that it shouldn't matter. Unfortunately we live in a closed minded society that can make things very rough on interracial dating and that puts a strain on your relationship. I feel that you can take any ones arms and cut them an inch deep and their blood is still as red as mine regardless of their skin color!

if it is true love ok, but too many people get into interracial relationships for social reasons, or to fit in. And those relationship I don't approve of. Such as I hear men say they want a snow bunny because they give them money or girls say they want black men because they are bigger, or even it fit in to high class standards. Those reasons are stupid
