I actually have two barrels and recommend that everyone with an A5 have more than one. I do this because you might not play the same position all the time. There are times when your playing suppression fire and a flatline (about $100) will give you the range you need but you lose accuracy and then there are other times that you will want to play mid or attack and need the accuracy...for that, I went with a Smart Parts 14" barrel and I typically like to go with a mid-grade paint due to the extremely fast firing rate of the A5 (I have an e-trigger)...you could bankrupt a small country firing premium paint with an A5 + e-trigger set-up

I personally would suggest a 10 to 12 inch twister barrel. That's what I have on my gun and it serves me well.

Oh yeah, these barrels only cost about fifty dollars...

Their own Flatline barrel, shoots nice and flat.
