when I cannot but keep on thinking about the intimacy my bf shared with his ex-es. It's driving me nuts. He says he is mentally not involved with them, but cares for them. But he is cold and silent to me too.

Sometimes you get into a relationship and everything feels right. Like you are with the right person and that everything is so great except for the fact that there is something there that you cant trust, or some little thing that does not feel right. Just if you could change him.. right. Make him stop thinking about his ex's and make him become this great, caring communicating, guy you want him to be.

Well think again. It is not going to happen. There is something in your heart that is making you go nuts and its called intuition. Believe me, intuition is much stronger than you think.

I was in a relationship with a guy for 12 years that was the same way. He loved me, I know he did, but he was unable to communicate which made him seem cold and there was always this mystery about him, something I did not trust, but I wanted so bad to open him up. Make a long story short, he cheated and I found out, god only knows how many times.

Well I am out of that relationship and with a person who I truly trust and am so happy. It is so nice to be in a relationship in which you can truly feel secure and safe in.

If he isn't bringing the same type of intimacy to you that he gave his ex's then I'd leave and find someone willing to do so. And maybe he isn't mentally involved with them, but with your constantly thinking about it (and bringing it up to him I'm gathering) is also driving him nuts. He probably just thinks you are jealous, and men don't like jealousy.

Your last line says it all. If he's cold an unresponsive, what are his good points??? Whatever your relationship is, it's not a relationship, move on......Stop wasting your time. Go out and begin to enjoy life...either independently or with another......
