I think it would be the coolest thing to do! I would like to learn chinese too. I read that mandarin is more widely spoken than cantonese, so I would go for mandarin. Good luck!

I think it would be a great thing to do. I have a friend who has taken up Chinese and it has given him a new slant on life and an excuse to visit China every now and then. It's said to be the up and coming language to learn.

I think it's great for you to learn a new and different language... i speak Spanish (my native language) and i also speak English but now I'm leaning Japanese for the same reason as you and because i have to go to Japan some day..

Well prefer the language that could deliver you probably the most advantages in lifestyles, relying to your concern, to your process. They on the whole all have advantages (ex: Mandarin Chinese is without doubt one of the so much spoken languages on the earth, Japanese is used plenty in trade, so is Korean).
