If you answered yes to any of those do you also believe in Faries, Trolls, Hobgoblins, or Leprechauns?

There is no evidence that any of these things DON'T exist*. But there also isn't any evidence that they DO exist. It's the same for Gods, Devils, Deamons, Faries, Heaven, and Hell. If you believe in one set of superstitions, why not all of them?

*You can't prove non-existence.

Believing is one thing. Knowing is another. As most people have said in here, yes you can believe in whatever you want. That doesn't make it the truth. And NO, not everyone has to believe in something. What everyone should have is the knowledge of the truth and the openmindedness to receive the truth. Not mumbo jumbo from books that you just accept as your truth.

Due to personal experiences, I believe in a Higher Power... just not anything like what most religions claim. I am Wiccan, but a quick look at my religion will show it is very Free with the images used for Deity. As for trolls, we see them in here all the time, don't we? That's evidence enough for me. I do not believe in Satan, Heaven, Hell, Daemons, Angels, Leprechauns. My 16 yr old IS a hobgoblin, so that's a yes.

I don't place trust in such things without a good reason to. Though, I know sometimes it appears I believe in things when there really isn't a reason to... as I've been told several times by Atheists lol

I am a Bible believing christian, but I don't believe like a religious person, I believe in God like I have a relationship. I believe in every word in the Bible. Humans can create many things, but the closer we come to the end the weaker our faith becomes. Religion has created barriers between us, and I have faith that it will only get worse before it gets better. Faith is what makes people believe there is a God, I believe in a loving God whom I call father. If I were only to trust the things I see, I would be a doubting and lost person. I have to believe that when I am driving home my House will be there, sure I can say that the street is there, because I see it, but I don't want the street to be the only thing I believe is there. Evil was created by man, not God, Hell is a place where his presence is completely gone. Slowly the Truth is being taken away from this world, God is the truth, we are making a hell like world because we are exploring other truths, I believe in the truth that there is a street (I believe in science) but I don't believe that this is all there is. Religions explore the false truths, so I skip the religion part and just Love God. I will with all my strength make a world a better place, full of the presence of Love, Life, Truth, and Good. I can not force anyone to believe, but the time has ended to be playing games the world is becoming a living Hell, I dare you to turn on the news and count all that is wicked and count all that is good. I dare you to ask your grandparents if the world now is the same world they lived in. Sure it is more prosperous, but what has our wealth gotten us? Greed, and corruptness. They say animals can feel the nature, such as earthquakes, and us humans unless we know it is happening we are obliviouss to our feelings. I believe us humans feel the impact of the end. Yolo, 2012, Zombie Apocalypses, we feel the end of the world coming soon, but not a physical end, a spiritual one. Tell me when did animals become more loving than humans, we have consciences they don't. When did we become so stupid as to let our children do stupid things, such as play with knives, swallow condoms and Cinnamon, our world is dying and then we ask why? Where is God!? Guess what God did not choose to leave, we pushed him out, and now we blame him. Guess what his is still on the same place he has allways been, on his thrown, waiting for us as one to ask for him back. We have forsaken God not the other way around. Even after this you still won't believe because of a lack of faith, and because of hard hearts. We have hard hearts so that we wont feel anything when we watch the people in this world die or get hurt.

Why does it bother you so much what I may or may not believe? Sounds like somebody has some security issues with their choices in life.

I am open to the existence of Faries, Trolls, Hobgoblins, and/or Leprechauns, but I have not seen any dancing on my lawn yet.

I have felt the Hand of God in my life. I know that Jesus was His Son, and because Jesus spoke of Angels, Demons, Heaven, Hell, and Satan, I believe in all of those.

If all "truth" is relative, why do you feel so threatened by mine?

God, Satan, Heaven, Hell, Demons or Angels are all Christan ideals. So that would make someone a Christian to believe in them. Since I am not one I could say no, But Wiccans do have a God and a Goddess so I would say yes. I find it is better to believe in something than nothing. After all I do think God could be known by different names? I dont know but I must say I did like this question

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Well, I definitely believe in God, angels, heaven and hell etc....these entities are not superstitions, they are my spritual and religious beliefs; the same ones held by millions of Christians around the world.....its different with "fairies", "trolls", etc coz they were created from someone's imagination.....they're not part of a religion or spritual principal....they're just creatures borne from the mind-set of very imaginative people who invented them to appease a child's appetite for bedtime stories....You're right, I can't prove non-existence but I can hold on to my faith.....

I believe in GOD the father almighty the creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ his only son, Our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit; born of the Virgin Mary: Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, sits at the right hand of GOD the father Almighty; from thence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
