If you are truly a good person you sure do. I am always the one who stops to help a stranger, befriends the new or very different person, volunteers for all the jobs nobody wants, smiles even though I just feel awful, I rarely hear a thank you or anything. But again I don't do these things out of need for a pat on the back I just assume everyone has a duty to serve their brother or sister and it just feels good to be able to sleep at night knowing I TRY to always be honest and good.

depends upon what you call " the right thing " because the right thing for you may not be the right thing for me and what is the right thing for me may not be the right thing for you.
