Is there any websites dealing with "chipping" an NTL box for free cable. Not for me you understand (ahem) but for a friend.

I'm looking for information that could explain step-by-step procedures that would allow viewing of ALL NTL channels including the premium ones such as SKY SPORTS & SKY MOVIES.

I understand, from my friend (ahem once more), that there are such devices out there that allows for this to happen. If some kind souls out there with knowledge of these devices would let me know via this thread I, and I guess my friend (hehehe), would be very grateful!

Thankyou Texas for your kind words. You should really get out of your trailor and see more of the world. MORON.

I do not intend to do this to my NTL box at all. I guess that I should have said it in my enquiry first off, just to save some time wasters.

I'm at college (I'm 18) and doing a course in Electronics. I just want the information so I can include it in a project that I'm doing.

As for looking like Orlando Bloom (have the 2 points - that's fine, but please - urgh!).

There are boxes which you connect your cable to and you end with every channel going. They cost at least £100 and can be pretty diffiult to track down. I know someone who imported one from Germany.

And as for the person who said that if you now about these devices you must be engaging in this illegal activity...what utter bollocks! Thats like saying you must do drugs because you have heard about them

My boyfriend is a sky subscriber, meaning he pays every month to watch sky on his tv.. legally... but there's something Sky does that you can tell them your information and register online, and download something so you can watch sky on your computer... at no extra expense.

No one here is going to be able to give you an answer to something that's illegal...

It's best to be just doing it the right way ! Pay your cable bill . It's not good to do this illegal , you'll be in jail for a while .Think about it !
