I need to get a storage unit to get my things out of my ex's house. I am a little strapped for cash at this moment. I have been seeing this guy whom I love to death. We have been together since July. Do you think it would be wrong to ask him for the money to get the storage unit? (I don't mean make the monthly payments) He would like me to get my things out of my ex's house too. What do you think?

Ask your friend for the help in paying for the storage unit but be sure you are the one responsible for paying for the monthly rent. Put it in your name not his. Also pay him back as soon as you can. It sounds like your friend is being supportive of you and he should understand that you may need help until you get back on your feet.

Sure ask him why not but be subtle about it and don't demand or any thing or sound too desperate. Since he's even suggesting you get your stuff out maybe he's just waiting to offer you the $$$ who knows.

Bring it up in conversation...tell him that you need a storage unit but you don't have the money..see if he offers.

Sure! Why not ask him for the cash.. Im sure he will give it too you.. If he feels the same way about you, he will not have a problem helping you out
