In some states it is illegal. It depends also on their methods. Many of these sites were raided and shut down last fall by the DEA. Among their illegal practices is not reviewing medical records enough if at all, and selling counterfeit pills. It's impossible to know up front whether they are following the law or not -- these sites will claim a real doctor has thoroughly reviewed your records but experience proves this to be a load. No, I do it all the time. But not controlled drugs. I hate going to a doctor for an antibiotic when I am sure I have a urinary tract infection. I take antidepressants and see no sense in going in for a prescription. I have some medical knowledge and read up on what I am taking.
