No....

But deporting 11-20 MM illegals is darn near impossible. And, at this point, it may cause some serious harm if we do get rid of illegals. There is a place in PA (I think) that has enacted laws prohibiting illegals from renting or getting jobs. They have largely left the city- now businesses are failing in that town.

Amesty is not a solution but neither is total deportation- It is next to impossible to accomplish. there has to be some way for them to stay, become legal, no to citizenship and pay steep fines.

Secure the borders.

Let's not place this all on the Dems-- Bush has advocated some form of Amnesty as well. And Reagan DID grant amnesty in the 80's.

No, its more about votes than it is amnesty,The Democrats
are making promises they can never keep. The American people are totally against amnesty, and if they try to push this down the country's throats they will regret it in 2008..
They are simply pandering to the Hispanic vote.and they are just lying like all political party's do.
Blanket amnesty will not happen no matter what lies the party's tell you to get your votes.

Even tho the republicans want cheap labor ,think about this.If you give all illegals amnesty, why would that person continue to work for low wages.Hes legal now and he can demand the wages that legal Americans make plus
benefits etc.the employers would have to pay taxes on those /for those workers that are now legal.
I wouldn't really want them to be legal, would you ?
Its much better for big business to keep them illegal.

Yes they are that is what the Senate bill was about, that the congress refused to pass, it involved amnesty to all even terrorists if they were here, and if they get control of the Senate and the house, their will be blanket amnesty again, and they another flood will start waiting for the next amnesty, why do you think all of these people have come over the years, in 86 amnesty was given by Reagan, and the flood started again, now look where we are, if amnesty is given again it will start all over again. their are also hundreds of thousand of Chinese, Koreans, Africians, Europeans trying to get in, this amnesty will signal to all illegals just get here illegally, then they will give you amnesty, then why bother with immigration laws at all.

No. There are many, like me, that want them sent back. They are not causing lower wages, but they are causeing many employers to lower their standards of work conditions and environment.
