Well the type of arthritis you have is the wear and tear type, (osteoarthritis). x-rays will show just how bad and if there are any osteophytes in the joint and if there is any joint space narrowing. The pain is treated with celebrex or other antinflammatories. As time goes by and the condition gets worse you are looking at knee replacement. I have had half of my left knee replaced due to arthritis as a result of sports injuries. My knee hurt constantly it seemed. The surgery helped bunches. Try glucosomine. Take 2,000 mg/day for 4 days and then 1,000mg/day for maint.

Try warm compresses or heating pad. Take Aleve or Tylenol Arthritis before bed. Try drinking Mona Vie Active (all natural health drink) twice a day. It starts working after 2 weeks of use. You can find it cheapest on Ebay.

I was in a car accident 10 years ago. My right knee cap was crushed among other things. I couldn't walk for a year, in that year of hopping on crutches, my other knee was damaged. Now I have arthitis in both. Sometimes the only thing that helps me is heat. Either a hot bath, a heating pad, even ben gay & wrapping them very snuggly in an ace-bandage. You may have luck with prescription anti-infammitory drugs, although they are hard on your stomach.
