grow up u need all the school u can get dont skip out to do dumb things get your education! dont be like me i skipped out all the time didnt graduate and had to get my ged when all i had to do was stay in school ! plus its gonna suck when u see all your friends graduate except U

Just be honest with him, he can either let you skip school and be aware of it (as long as it's not a regular thing) or you will end up skipping anyways. My mom was a hard *** in highschool, that was the only thing that worked. Remember "excuse" is just another word for lie, and everyone gets caught in the end.

tell him you got a Girl Pregnant and when he asks who tell him it was your sister. You will never make it to school after telling him that. LOL No seriously go to school dude. some day you are gonna be old and working and miss the days you hung out with your friends all day. Plus I am calling your dad right now to tell him.

Your dad doesn't sound overly strict... it sounds like he's a good dad who is just doing his job.

Just be honest. Parents don't always want to be parents. They understand sometimes you just need a day off. But don't leave the house and don't go get in trouble. Truancy officers are out and looking.

For what purpose do you wish to skip school? Guessing it's to be up to no good which I do not advise. Just go to school.

This is why your dad is strict with you..you are trying to skip school...Dumb thing to do...You are asking people to give you lies to fool your dad...Dumb thing to do...Either of these things would justify your dad punishing you especially the lies.

Why do you want to skip? If it's a really good reason and you don't do this often, then just tell him. He may let you.
