I feel like I'm ready to cut my own head off just to stop the pain (sinus pressure)!!!!

I had sinus surgery but it was not a pain-relieving measure, and I doubt a doctor would do surgery for sinus pain, at least not until many other options have been tried (medication, rinses, etc.). The surgery was very painful and difficult, but was worth it terms of fewer infections and colds, removal of sinus-clogging polyps, and complete resolution of my sleep apnea (which necessitated surgery of both my throat and sinuses). You might have polyps that are making things bad, or something else that's fixable. See an ear, nose, and throat doctor to see what can be done. They'll stick a tube and chemicals up your nose, and it's unpleasant, but it just might be worth it.

My daughter-in-law had sinus surgery and she still has horrific sinus infections. I've heard, from many people who had the same surgery, and they still have problems. I almost did but now I'm glad I didn't have the surgery.

It depends on the surgery I guess. I'm sure there are several different types. I have not personally had the surgery, but my grandfather did have his sinuses cortorized to reduce swelling & it did help him a great deal.

I had a lobotomy. You can do this yourself with an icepick, though I don't really recommend it.
