i love puff pastry mince pies with or without cream or custard but if eating normal ones good lord i love cream i love this time of year seems to be the only season people dont mind u eating loads lol

I like mince pies on their own. Without custard or cream. If you have to put something with them try rum or brandy butter. After all that turkey and Christmas pud I'm passed caring.

I like mince pies hot with the lid lifted and brandy butter put inside to melt. With hot custard and cold cream. I wouldn't eat them at any other time of year, it's a sad sad ritualistic thing for me!! xxx

i make my own mince pies some i put chopped walnuts in make some double cream vanilla ice cream serve straight from the oven mmmmmmm and let the ice cream melt

My grandmother-in-law made gallons of mincemeat every year and canned many, many quarts of it! She donated lots for the fall bazaar at her church and always gave me several quarts. It was so wonderful and sadly I never got her recipe. Mince pie is so good, warm, cold, with hard rum sauce, with cream, plain, fancy, any way you can imagine.
