An allergic reaction will not take days period. It will begin when the body starts to metabolize the food. Much in the same way food poisoning shows up. It can range from an hour to several, but not days later. The food would already be processed & gone from the body in days. Same thing as contact dermititis. It's not gonna be delayed days.

It could take few days if it is just a mild reaction. The fever normally does not go along with an allergy. I would recommend seeing a Dr. I have 3 kids myself and when fevers and welts combine it normally needed antibiotics. Hope this helps!!!

You don't usually have a fever with food allergies. Welts and difficulty breathing would be more symptomatic of a food allergy call your pediatrican and talk to a nurse

You need to TAKE YOUR CHILD TO A DOCTOR to get him/her tested for allergies if you suspect allergies, if it is an allergy they get worse the second time around and can be lethal, especially food allergies.
