Try some paracetamol.
Mint essential oils massaged into the temples.
Massage to temples, base of skull, and gently above the eyes and on the cheeks.
Make sure you're not dehydrated (drink some water)
If this has been going on for days...see your family doctor, for a check-up.
Osteopathy and Indian Head Massages work wonders for chronic headaches with me.

a million. When is the final time you had a headache? Couple of years (steady one) two. What did you are taking on your headache? Advil three. When is the final time you had a hangover headache? About every week in the past four. What labored for this headache? Time five. What does not paintings in any respect on your complications? Banging my head towards a wall 6. Do you get stupid complications or throbbing complications? I customarily do never get complications. When I do (steady ones) they're customarily stupid. A sizzling bathtub or truly well therapeutic massage works wonders. A chiropractor might aid too to get you again in running order!

It really depends on the kind of headache that you have. I have suffered with several kinds of headaches my whole life. If it is a migraine, try heat at the back of the neck. If it is sinus, try a sinus medication, and a hot hot shower, it will relieve some of the pressure. If it is a stress headache, try having someone massage your shoulders and neck, gently, and then the temple area. Actually, the massage usually helps with any kind of headache. I have found that the worse the pain is, naturally the more upset you get. If there is anyway, no matter what kind of headache it is, if you can stay calm, relax, it should help somewhat. Like I said, it really depends on the kind of headache that you have, but anything is worth a try when your hurting. I hope you get relief and feel better soon.

If this is a recurring problem go to a Chiropractic Physician and figure out what is causing the headache instead of taking a bunch of stuff to cover up the symptoms. Surely your headache is not caused by a lack of aspirin or Tylenol. If they don't touch the pain its likely coming from the joints or surrounding muscles. A good chiropractor will be able to figure it out and give you your options for care. Quit masking the symptoms and fix the cause. Good luck!
