I have a runny, itchy nose, sinus pressure and congestion...the nasal decongestant is supposed to work for the sinus pressure and congestion, and the antihistamine is supposed to be for my runny, itchy nose...and the sinus pressure is causing me a major headache...can I take 3 different forms of medicine?

I have no way of getting to the store to buy a medication that has all three...I need to work with what I have...but since there are OTC medicines with all three, I'm assuming that it's ok to combine?

absolutely. If these are over the counter meds you have plenty of safety margin on dosage and they expect you to mix that combo so the reactions between them are very rare. Go for it and feel better. I do it all allergy season long.

I'm not a doctor, but I've had a few colds in my life and treated my daughters'. Check the ingredients on the nasal decongestant and the antihistamine, I'm sure that you'll find the decongestant has antihistamine in it, so why would you want to take both? Your local pharmacist would be the best person to speak to about drug interaction. However; taking a pain reliever such as Tylenol with an antihistamine is perfectly o.k.

Yes, it's called Tylenol Allergy Sinus. You just take 1 or 2 pills of that. You don't go buy 3 different medications.
