Because it's different and people will use any excuse they can find to single someone out to make themselves feel better. Also different hair colors have different stereotypes so they might pick on you based off a stereotype they have of you.

i imagine its because that is because that is like a orange colour the sane colour as carrots and stuff like that. Its not a lot of a classic darkish colored hair which incorporates blonde, black, brown and so on, and that is stands out alot of more effective. ~i in my opinion don't have any challenge with those who've Ginger hair, some Ginger colored hair is pleasing, and would in good structure human beings quite nicely:') My cousin has Ginger hair, i'd swap hair such as her besides:')

I know, I'm not ginger but it happened all the time when I was at school , people with ginger hair were always made fun of, just like fat children awere always made fun of (c*ap I was one of them!) But it was someone thing I grew out of when I got older.

I used to make fun of fat people but not ginger people. So maybe they did it for the same reason I did, because I was sad. I wouldn't do it again though.

I researched this once and it all goes back to biblical times when Adam had a wife (before Eve) called Lilith, apparently she had red hair, and she rebelled and became like the mother of the demons, so people used to associate red hair with evil. I am not being horrible, I have red hair myself, and am very proud of it.

It has been known for people with ginger hair to be aggressive, bad tempered, trouble makers.
I'm not saying you are one of thede people, but it only takes a couple of idiots to give the whole a bad name.
My brother-in-law is ginger, and he's always in trouble with the law.

Ginger hair is cool, I think that people who bully people with ginger hair are just jealous

It is jealousy and ignorance. I have ginger hair and I love it! I get a lot of compliments but I also get quite a few stares and stupid comments. Keep your head up and just smile at the stupid people.

People are mean and often, if they know it bugs you, they will continue to pick on you and tease you. You were singled out because the color is rare as a natural shade. You should be proud of you hair.

And its not everyone else's opinion that matters, its yours.
