To me "luv" is that warm fuzzy feeling we feel toward our friends...love is the heart felt, deep emotion we feel toward someone we have a romantic connection with...
As far as a relationship progressing...by your spelling, you don't appear to be very old...so I'd suggest take it slow...no need to rush and as a teen (which I assume you are) there'll be a number of boyfriends along the way...don't jump into anything with anyone that you aren't 100% ready for...

you need to listen to the song sex once you give it up you never get it back so hold on and be strong men will say any thing to get in you're paints so if he love you he will Waite but if he don't then he did not love in the first place see love is special you need to be treated like that
