I have to do a 100 page essay on how she suffered.

What happened was this: Rebekah helped Jacob to steal Esau's birthright by killing a tame goat, preparing it in Isaac's favorite way, and using the fur from the goat to simulate Esau's hairy skin (remember, Isaac was blind by this time). She then got some clothing of Esau's and put it on Jacob so that Isaac's sense of smell would be deceived as well.
It was because of Rebekah's deceptions at this time that she suffered later in her life by being deprived of her beloved son, who had to flee for his life immediately after Esau's birthright was stolen. She never saw Jacob again.

I am not sure and have never heard of that, I guess she aided in the escape of her son. He never faced the reaction of stealing his brothers blessing and birthright. He used deception and his mother was fully aware of it. I guess she may have suffered because she did d not see him anymore. The distance was great and Joseph feared many years for his life and ran from his brother. I guess the mom suffered in that she never saw her son again after that act was committed.
Try a book on history or try getting a book from the historian Josepheus. He was around back in Biblical times.

After she aided him she had to write some ridiculously long essay about why she should have let him die. Who are these people you talk about, maybe you should specify, how does it have to do with homeschooling?
