Since I don't have a wife, I can only answer this theoretically, but I would say my wife. You have a greater duty to protect her, plus she is younger (I hope!) and has more life ahead of her.

Between my mom and husband(since I wouldn't have a wife) I'd probably save no one and we'd all die because I couldn't chose.

I would have made sure they were both wearing lifejackets before getting on the boat. It's the law. So theoretically neither of them would drown.

skip the choice ..
and send them to the YMCA over the summer.. to learn to swim... Then when your kids are drowning ... your mom and your wife and pitch in .
