Maybe costumes are expensive or somthing. I had kids come to my door wearing pajamas, I asked what are you supposed to be and they replied, we are pajama kids. Now you tell me WTF is that?

You know, I was at work last night and it seemed as though it was like that there too. There were a lot of kids but not many of them had costumes and they were kinda old. At least half or more of them were over the age of 14/15. I know that by the time I reached the age of 12 I was way too old to continue going Trick-Or-Treating. I personlly think that the big kids are ruining it for all the little kids that really enjoy it in a harmless way.

I know where I live we have many pakistans here and they do not believe in dressing up, but they sure want that candy to save on school treats, I always give out, but only to kids that are dressed up, last night when they came to my door any child that was not dressed up they got a rock sorry but if parents are too busy to even put some make up on them or even just buy some ears to put on there head they do not deserve to take there kids out, remember this is a day where kids get to dress up as what ever they want to be and have fun with it, its not fun when you go to a house and person asks and what are you tonight, and the kid says myself, if that was the case then why need costumes and why go door to door when parents should get them treats, and I have no clue what happened to halloween I guess parents these days do not think its right to show off the devils that everyone does not want to see in life, who knows but if you ever find out what happened to it let me know pls, I still dress my kids even my 12yr old and make her go out and have that fun, cause thats what its about fun and interacting, plus it gives the children that one day to use there manners as well when they recieve candy to say thank you.

Kids these days could care less about the fun of getting to dress up and be different for one night. nowadays they just want the candy.

you're able to do the two! go away the bowl of candy on the porch and circulate trick or treating. some people will take extra desirable than their honest share, yet maximum will in basic terms take a pair of things.

I know exactly how you feel, and what about the babies in the strollers that you are expected to give candy to???? And then the mom and dad want them some too.Maybe next year I'll just donate my candy to the local church so they can give it out.
