i chose not to view "God" and my spirituality in simplistic either/or terms. i chose to believe that "God" is omnipresent so is on ALL sides and it's only sublimated primate territorial instinct that creates armies and makes a battle ground of our lives, our planet and our spirituality. the egotistically inclined love believing they fight for their god failing to realize feeling the need to aggressively defend their god and their version of truth indicates how little faith they actually have. hatred and aggression arise out of fear. it's the woefully insecure that feel the need to be in "god's army".
