First, christian is not another way of saying asexual or even nice. Look at catholic priests.
Why not give them the same things? I'd skip the stuffed animals though.

How about none of the material things you offered. If he is a true Christian, not just a professed Christian, he will want and value your honesty, treating him with respect, and your expecting him to respect you, be truthful and expecting him to be the same. Before you become too intimate, you should both discuss in depth what is important to the both of you, to see if there are anythings you can build a solid "friendship", Only true friends are successful with each other.

Something that let him know that you know what he likes. For example, don't buy him tickets to a hockey game if you know he's a basketball fan. Find out what he enjoys and help him enjoy it more. This shows that you are taking notice of what he's in to. Try not to go with the obvious, only something that someone close would know. I know, easier said than done.

Guys are hard, if he is devout christian, then maybe a really pretty crusifix, or two doves, (to symbolize the joining of two hearts) start there, but my mom always said the way into a mans heart is through his stomach, cook a romantic meal.
BOYS YOU ARE SUCH HORN DOGS, It's funny though.... makles me laugh.
GODSCHILD you are a dying breed.

Many guys actually like getting those kinds of gifts, :P Seriiously, you don't even need to buy gifts at all! Hugs, kisses, hot meals, and lots of little things like that can speak volumes.
