The problem is, is that we ARE often hypocrites. It is very damaging (especially to oneself) to focus upon the sins of others. Like St. Paul we must confess ourselves the worst of sinners. If we want to be saved we must not point out the sty in our brother's eye, but rather look to the log in our own eyes.
And, like the Prodigal Son, remember that we came back to our father's house in humility; having wasted all the good things we had been given. It was, in fact, the elder brother, who focused on his own good deeds and on his prodigal brother's bad deeds, who was unable to partake of family feast - a feast no doubt representing salvation; the heavenly feast.
So when other's call us hypocrites, or worse, do not take offense. If you can, it is better to thank them for reminding us of our countless imperfections and great need of grace.

Firstly if you need to shout your religion from the rooftops - there.is.a.problem.
You need to realise the how you interact with people will determine their treatment of you. I know many Christians - some are bible bashing and are considered by many as hypocrites, not because they "sin". It's like saying, for example, that killing someone is wrong to everyone that will listen to you & then going out & commiting murder...
anyway that's my thoughts, use it - don't use it.

But you stated the problem most Christians Really Judge people alot. And not just any judging, Hard Judging. IN this case they put themselves above other people and they tend to turn people off because of it. Live and let live, try your hardest to do good and be a good person is all we are all abligated to do. Christian and non Christian alike!

I believe that the Christians that are most thought of as hypocrites are those that go to church and sunday but act like the rest of the secular world the rest of the week.

i think what perhaps annoys people is your thinking that non christians dont try to live a good moral life also and although they make mistakes and do wrong , they try hard not to repeat that
in your very question you are being judgemental and assuming that non christians are not capable of such
i do know that this was not your intention though but re read your words sweetheart xx

It's hard to not judge someone who is constantly screaming that their faith is the only truth out there and that we need to believe it so we can be saved from "our sins". If christians get tired of being judged by others, they need to go to church and leave the rest of us alone.
Churches are not hard to find. If we were interested in church, we would go find one. Since we are not, we don't take well to people telling us that if we don't develop an interest in their church, we are condemned to an eternity in hell.

effective dream yet permit's be genuine...this is by no skill going to ensue. There are different concepts on a thank you to evade sexually transmitted illnesses. and you look suggesting that basically "actual" Christians wait until marriage - people of different religions do besides, you recognize.

Misery loves company. If someone is doing wrong...they want to bring others down with them; so they don't feel so guilty.
You are correct; we will know a tree by it's fruit.
We are to judge but not condemn. Our judgment must be out of discernment; not condemnation.

basically what you're saying is "everybody is the same", religious or not. exactly my point. so we really don't need religion if we're going to sin anyway. it's kind of like some sort of fallout shelter a religious person has.

Because in my experience Christians 'preach' (their word not mine) about morals then act as badly if not worse than those who do not profess a faith.
