There are twelve in the Bible;

(1) Peter (whose surname was Simon; also known as the d
disciple that denied Jesus 3 times)
(2) Andrew (Peter's Brother)
(3) James (the son of Zebedee)
(4) John (James's Brother)
(5) Matthew (tax collector)
(6) Thomas (the only disciple that doubted Jesus' resurrection)
(7) Philip
(8) Bartholomew
(9) James (another James; not John's Brother James)
(10) Thaddaeus
(11) Simon (another Simon; not Peter)
(12) Judas (the one that betrayed Jesus)

But I think a person that lives his life according to the word of God and tries to teach others about righteousness can also be classified as a disciple.

There are millions of disciples ( disciple means follower) 12 original Apostles actually there are more than 12 as Paul and Matthias were apostles. At Hebrews 3:1 Jesus is called an Apostle.

I'm assuming you mean Jesus' original, closest disciples. There were 12 at first, then one (Judas) proceeded to hang himse;f after ratting out Jesus to the authorities. He was later replaced by a man named Jude, which makes the number 13.

Vision of the Ancient of Days

I watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow,
And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
A fiery stream issued
And came forth from before Him.
A thousand thousands ministered to Him;
Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was seated,
And the books were opened.
