Hello,
Has anyone ever had surgery on a deviated septum before? Is it a very involved procedure? And has it worked or improved your breathing, stuffiness, allergy symptoms, etc? Thanks!

I haven't had the surgery, but I'm a nurse that work for an ear, nose and throat doctor in surgery and have performed plenty of them. If done correctly, yeah, it should help with breathing and stuffiness....not allergy symptoms though. It's "involved", but not difficult. Usually takes an hour, give or take and you'll be a little black and blue for a week or so. Good Luck!

Yes. It has helped me a lot. Both nostrils are now the same size instead of one side being almost closed off due to the deviation. Not a big procedure. It will be much better about 3 days after the surgery.

What did your surgeon inform you? i'd adjust to that advice earlier i'd some subject published precise right here. yet whilst youin case you stopped eating at modern-day. it is going to likely be all metabolized day after today. And the metabolites would be accomplished in approximately 3 days.
