I had a long distance relationship and I don't think it was retarded,, we were in two different countries (3 day drive) and we managed to go thru 7 months,,, our first mistake was letting others get in between with the whole "he said, she said" BS... so don't let that happen, it turned out that everything we heard and believed were lies and people talking out of jelousy cus we were really happy. Be careful with those people. Other than that well, just talk on the phone as much as you possibly can, text each other, chat online, use the webcam, any type of communication. Send him pictures (be careful with the explicit ones, you don't wanna do that) leave him cute messages and just be honest with him, tell him you think about him and why not take a drive to where he's at? he can do the same and visit you!! and what ever you do, follow your heart, people will critisize you and tell you LDR don't work but we all speak from our own experiences,,, and just to let you know, it turns out my ex was closer than I thought, he was now 4 hours away from me instead of 30 something, we are in contact again :) life works in mysterious ways.

if your asking that question then its not meant to be, sorry to say but I am in a long distant relationship and it is always interesting, it takes more then one person to keep it like it, not one, so if you are not intrested or the other isn't then just be friends, and as well take it one day at a time do not rush into things that you can not do cause of the distance! Try to visit each other as often as possible or there's always phone sex. I did the long distrance things a few times and it's very difficult. I don't think it's the way to go. Good luck!
