Renee I am firm believer that before we are born on this earth we know what our spirit needs to accomplish. What our purpose is, whether that is to know the struggle of being poor as a peasent, or to be a king, and know the feeling of dominating one.
Our spiirits are allowed to do this by using the physical means of our bodies, like a driver of a car traveling to it's next destination. It's just that sometimes free will, and the limitations that we learn from this world gets in the way And then the forces, or the powers to be sort of puts it back on track of where we need to go to accomplish what it is our spirit seeks.
Yes we are making the decisions, but only the ultimate source knows what it is that we need to learn from those decisions so that we may find our destination.
I wish you well

there is a reason for everything and all things work for the Good for who love God when something bad happens to someone Good it could be a Blessing in disguise keeping you from danger of something much worse happen some things are not meant to be and some things are i know when things are not meant to be we are given the wisdom to change them.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die,
This was also made into a song.

I think God superintends allot of things. If you flip a coin the result is already determined by the pressure, the force, the air... etc... it looks like chance... but no

somehow though God is sovereign and man chooses according to his highest inclination of his heart... somehow there is a 'confluence' of both being true and doing violence to neither

its not chance... with God there is no chance ... all thing are from him through him and in Him we have our being

Neither. "meant to be" implies intention, "all of this chance" implies randomness.

Everything is perfectly determined by mathematically computable formulas. One could argue that quantum physics injects a certain randomness, but this only renders the computation probablistic instead of classically deterministic, however, under the Copenhagen Many Worlds hypothesis, each individual state is itself deterministic, it is the overall transposition of wavestates that is probablistic.

Well Renee...I think there are no coincidences. Yes we make choices sure but also, there are forces at work as well. You are me and I am you. And us 'meeting' is no coincidence. Isn't life grand?

But every human being on Earth is me. If we all thought that way there would be no more strife. Our choices teach us things, that is for sure.

And yes my dear, there are no wrong answers.

There is ONE thing meant to be. That one thing is that you have the gift of free will and can make your own decisions and take actions. Of course, you're responsible for the consequences of your free will.

It also means that you have the ability to accept, or reject, the love and mercy of the one true God, and salvation of your eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus.

It's a result of chance, the choices we make and timing.

Timing is everything

I believe that before we were born our life was set on how it was going to turn out. I have read in the Bible where men prayed and God changed it.

Yes, I think that everything is meant to be. God says in Psalm 139 that all of our days are written in His book. He knows everything that is going to happen.
