Well, we don't blame the woman for the rape.
The phrase "their women" troubles me deeply. A woman *belongs* to no one.

I wanna know how a .3 gets raped? Joking! Joking!!!
I have heard of it, people claiming that it's the woman's fault. Actually, I have said that concerning a certain situation where a girl I knew got raped... after getting drunk at a bar she had never been to before, dancing with all kinds of guys (rubbing against them, etc), practically stripping for them while on a table.... I was there, I saw all of this happen. I left the bar. She was there with a couple of other friends.... later that night, after the bar closed, she was gang raped in her own car.
And I know, it sounds absolutely horrible... but it was her fault she got raped like that. You don't tease men (or even women) like that and expect a "No" to suffice at the end of the night.
But, as far as criticizing other ppl... you do realize it's against the law to rape in america, right? Is it against the law in these other places to treat their women badly? Or do they uphold that type of behavior, whether it's in a religion or just the Gov't. THAT is where the difference comes in.

The fact is that sinful behavior is not limited to one country or one people group, or one gender for that matter. Women have been mistreated throughout history, but they do plenty of mistreating themselves.
Treat others the way you would like to be treated. i.e. with gentleness, patience, dignity and respect.
If we all just concentrated on treating the people we know in that manner, I think we could change a lot of the crap happening in the world.

I would rather a stranger hurt me once in a lifetime than to live with a Husband, Father, or Brother who didn't respect me as their equal for a lifetime.
For the record, I am a rape victim. I would rather be raped again (though it was the most shattering moment of my life) than be forced to spend my life cowering beneath a rag and treated as a possession. I cannot imagine being denied access to books or freedom of movement through my country. I can't imagine being unable to talk to half the human race because they are male.

yes the statistics are very high, not sure if yours are accurate, however, women are treated badly all over the world, in some countries they cannot drive, are killed if they are raped, killed if they are thought not a virgin at the time of marriage, young women and girls are sexually mutilated. And the list goes on and on. So what exactly is your point. We need to put away the perpetrators of such crimes the first time for life is my opinion. God bless

Because, it's mostly men doing the raping and they do the criticizing as well.
Those they criticize are not playing by their rules. Each group of males have their own rules/marbles.Criticizing is like taking your marbles and going home cause you're not playing right.
