If , as a parent you let kids routinely light your cigarettes they will get hooked and start smoking on their own. It is not funny or a joke to let a little kid light up for you .
Kids can get hooked by smelling the smoke and pretty soon they like the 'flavor' .
Peer pressure is another way to start , wanting to appear grown-up in public etc.,
Don't let them do it. Lower the boom and get tough. Cigarettes kill. Each and every one is a nail in your coffin .

Any one who smokes will become addicted, nicotine is very addictive. Children whose parents smoke are more likely to smoke than kids whose parents don't smoke.
