I admit I can be a jerk sometimes, when I don't mean to be, but it seems like everytime I talk to my gf I have to watch what I say or she might start crying. So I find myself not saying anything. What should I do?

Sounds like you gotta hand full! Thats kinda not good, you have to talk in a relationship. Just let her know how you feel, whether she cries or not. She just seems really sensitive, she will get over it!

Try not saying things to her that make her cry. She sounds a bit sensitive or else you are a real jerk and conceited. I wouldn't worry to much because she will probably break up with you eventually once she finds someone that isn't such a jerk to her

You should probably leave her... I live with my boyfriend and can't imagine holding anything back... sometimes he says something I don't like, but I won't CRY about it. It's called having a conversation/debating/constructive argueing!! You should be with someone who you can speak freely with, no? If I truly don't like something my bf says, I'll talk with him about it until I understand his point of view... or not, but we'll talk until we can come to a good standing ground. So really, you should just find someone else... she seems like a handful. Good luck!

If you are being a jerk to her then try to be a little more understanding to her feelings, I am sure that she does not want to cry.....so you have to be saying something that makes her feel it necessary, don't tipie toe around her but you should be more caring of her feelings

Geez.... so everything that comes out of your mouth is mean? Are you THAT mean to her?
If you really love her, you will stop trying to be a jerk. Put in the "effort" to not be mean if she means that much to you.
It shouldn't be that hard to be nice... especially to your own girlfriend.
