Yes.
However, almost every airport has taken to calling itself an "International Airport".
Usually an international airport has customs and immigrations.
However, this is not a requirement for countries that don't require these.
Any airport that's remotely capable of takeoff to Canada can call itself "International". All of the customs work would be done when entering the Canadian airport.
They don't have to accept flights landing from Canada however...

No its not!. . say you are flying from Dominican Repbulic, u have to stop at an American International Airport than you could go to L.G.A. have you seen that size of that Airport its mad small. . .
But they have international flights

It is indirectly an international airport - they do not have DIRECT flights to international destinations, but you can get connecting flights to international destinations.
JFK is the internationa airport for NYC.

Pretty sure both LaGuardia and JFK are international airports.
