I think it's because of my Great Grandma. She always kept the Pringles cans to freeze homemade cookies in. Once they were cooled, she would stack them in Pringle cans and put the lid on and freeze them.
After she passed away, I got the last "can of cookies!"

Did you know that every 3rd pringle has extra flavouring so you keep on eating. So knowing this, surely there is no need for a lid. But at the end of the day the company have to consider health and safety and they can charge more money for a thin of plastic stick on the end!

Pringles = Cookie cutter chips. Tasty, yet too conservative. Too Republican. Lays = one and all is different. in case you detect one interior the form of Jesus or the Virgin Mary you may get rich. My decision: Lays. i ought to apply the money. Yeah, i comprehend the Jesus and Mary chip element is a longshot, yet i'm going to in no way get rich from a Pringle! :-)

I love pringles... Mostly the sour cream and chive... And i eat a tub in one go and love em!
They have resealable lids for light weights lol and maybe if your having them at a picnic you don't want ants and sh*t getting in there...

It's okay having the resealable lid,but it's damn job getting into the sealed top to start with.
And it is true, once you eventually get into them, they are very morish.

Interesting question and it's bad for the environment as well being plastic, what I want to know though is why are they smaller than the tube they come in, I don't eat them to often and it's always a disappointment.
As for your question, it's just marketing meaning that they are so tasty once you open them you won't be able to stop.

Good question. As far as I am concerned, Pringles is the worst chip you can eat. They always put too much salt. If I wanted to eat salt, I would do it from a shaker. Try a different brand and save your health. Frito Lay Chips are good and I love Dorito's nacho and also Dorito's Ranch. delicious.

It's the same with 7-11. If they are open 24 hours, why do they have a lock on the door?
They are pretty addictive, I don't stop until they are all gone.
