Does anyone know of any dual langauge (English/Spanish) elementary schools in the TN,NC,VA mountain areas?
My family would like to move somewhere in the scenic mountains of Tennessee, North Carolina, or Virginia. I would love for my daughter to have the benefit of a dual language education. Does anyone know of a dual language school (English/Spanish) in a Southeast mountain area? I have found several dual language schools in those states but none in the mountain areas. Any info would be appreciated.

Just for the record , when I have asked this type of question before I have received several hateful , ignorant , and racist"LEARN ENGLISH OR GO BACK TO MEXICO BEANER!!!!!!" type replies. Although I am part Hispanic, I am not Mexican. I am a fluent English speaker and a semi-fluent Spanish speaker. I would like for my daughter to be fluently bilingual to preserve our heritage as well as give her a career advantage.

Maybe it's just me, but I think that my information gathering plan would be radically different to yours.

This is what I would do:
(1) research the names of all the various counties in the area that you are considering moving to;
(2) search for the websites of these counties' school boards, and note the e-mail contact;
(3) prepare a template e-mail, which you can use over and over again, and which asks about bilingual elementary schools in the county;
(4) send off individual e-mails to each school board (using individual e-mails, rather than one e-mail to every board, though time-consuming, will guarantee a better response).

This is what you have done. You have posted a query on Yahoo! Answers, which is largely inhabited by neo-Nazi morons who can't even string a complete, correct sentence together, let alone think creatively to help a fellow human being. You are lucky that no-one has responded so far.

Try my way. Suerte amigo, y saludos de la Gran Bretaña.
