Am travelling to NZL and am having a transit period of 10 hrs in Thailand. Will I get a digicam there? If yes, how costly is electronic goods there compared to other regions in Asia? Also I would appreciate if anyone can tell me If I can enter the country and go around visiting places within that 10 hrs...

Electronic is almost the same price as anywhere, better go to hong kong

Yes, you would have time to go to Bangkok for several hours. You could find a mall or something that would have a digital camera. There's tons of places in Bangkok where you could buy one, at many prices, but I'm not sure about the airport. But you know what, I bet they do have digital cameras somewhere in the airport. But go to Bangkok by taking a cab. If you take a bus, you may get stuck in horrible traffic, but the taxis can go a faster way.

You can buy good goods from duty free at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
I saw good digicam and good price there.

First of all if you are Eurpean then no problem anytihng else you will have a problem have a look at this website for advice.

Electronics goods in any airport is not cheap, HK then Singapore then Malaysia then BKK
