Gimmelwald/Schilthorn area of Switzerland! Absolutely lush, green, snow capped Alps, full of hiking trails and activities, untouched by development, clean air and water (the lakes and water sources are turquoise from the glacial melt).

Second place is the Bavaria area of Germany. Similar to above, but a little more commercial and touristy. Hohenschwengau & Neuchwenstein castle area/Fussen are beautiful!

Glacier National Park, Montanna. Fecking stunning. Goose Lake took my breath away. For a Brit i was rather impressed, although the food over there was truly awfull. Have you guys ever heard of fresh fruit and veg? Blackfoot indian reserve was pretty cool too, nice people, shame about the history.
